Empire Pony Pals

Pony Pals is a horsemanship and drill team performance program for kids aged 7-17. Held at Empire Hills Farm, the program enlists the herd of 12 adorable Miniature Horses to teach kids basic horse care, how to interact with and work with horses in a non-riding capacity. After completing the 6 week beginner course, kids have the opportunity to join the performance team. This team performs at shows, parades and other appearances.

Please note, appearances we can participate in are based on making sure the horses are safe at all times, we have ample places to park and the type of event is something commensurate with the nature of horses.

Example: We cannot provide horses for firework events, or places where extreme noise, other loose animals or similar is present. We typically do not bring horses to indoor spaces, except indoor horse arenas.

This program is made up of member volunteers who organize for search and rescue missions for lost livestock. These missions are done on horseback and enables searches to reach areas that vehicles or foot traffic cannot.
